Clayton County Commissioner’s Grant FY 2010-2011

Clayton County is accepting applications from eligible organizations for the FY 2010 Commissioner’s Block Grant. All applications will be submitted to the Clayton Collaborative Authority, which will submit its finding and recommendations to the Clayton County Board of Commissioners for final approval.  Please remember that in order for any organization to participate in the application process it must be a recognized 501c (3) entity and be physically located in Clayton County, Georgia. Clayton County Launches Infrastructure Upgrades
Expected to Save Nearly $575,000 Annually
- Ceremony Initiates Energy-Saving Improvements -


Beginning this month Clayton County will begin infrastructure upgrades to its buildings anticipated to improve its annual budget by nearly $575,000.

The county expects the renovations to save $361,000 in annual utility costs and to generate $213,000 in annual carbon credit revenues. The energy-saving plan offers the added benefits of improving the comfort and productivity of county employees and reducing the county’s environmental impact. The upgrades are scheduled for seven county facilities and the county landfill.

Clayton County Web Site Earns A+ from Sunshine Review

Sunshine Review is a collaborative project that acts as a customer service hot-line for government transparency and accountability. It helps people evaluate if their government web sites proactively and voluntarily disclose information to the public and media.
