QUALIFYING
FEES and DATES FOR COUNTY OFFICES IN AN ELECTION YEAR
In accordance with provisions of Official Code of Georgia 21-2-131(a)(1)(A), the Board of Commissioners of Clayton County, Georgia, hereby sets and publishes the qualifying fees for each county office to be filled in each election in Clayton County.
The following qualifying fees have been fixed and shall apply to the county offices to be filled during the General Primary and General Elections to be held in Clayton County in 2010:
- County Commissioners - $ 673.52
- School Board Members - $ 360.00
- State Court Judges - $4,198.63
Qualifying for Partisan candidates will begin April 26 at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude April 30 at 12:00 Noon. Qualifying for Nonpartisan and Independent candidates will begin June 28 at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude July 2 at 12:00 Noon. Candidates will qualify at a location and time established by the respective political parties.
