Our objective is to ensure that the purchasing activities of Clayton County are conducted with the highest level of professionalism, impartiality and fairness. We strive to ensure that our citizens receive the highest possible value for the goods and services needed for the lowest possible cost.

Periodically, surplus county equipment is available to the public through the county government auction or public surplus sale.

Purchasing Information/Bid List - Rod Gray

Vendors may request information on bids and the bid process by contacting the Central Services Department at (770) 477-3587. Upon completion of a bidder's application, vendors will be placed on the computerized vendor list to receive future notification. Bidder's applications only may be faxed directly to the Central Services Department.

Vendors may view bid information on our Web site by Bid Package number, by Bid Opening Date or By Status. This information will also include results of each bid. This on-line information does not replace the present bid process but is provided as a public service to the vendors that wish to do business with Clayton County.

Bids and/or Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, appropriately marked as specified in each bid description, and received by the Central Services Department located at 7994 North McDonough Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236 no later than the posted Bid Opening date, as specified in each bid. Bids and/or proposals are not accepted via Email or fax and will not be considered. Questions concerning any bids and/or proposals or the bid process should be directed to the Central Services Department at (770) 477-3587.
